That’s a valid point. However, the parents should be angry at their child, instead of the police. Imagine the reaction if one of these kids actually went through with it and the police didn’t seize the firearms.

Where’s the criminal behavior? It’s with some Florida counties where instead of tight and vigilant school, police and sheriffs’ cooperation, problem kids are NOT facing police action for many behaviors that should bring down the police on them. Such behavior as was known about Cruz, should have been in reported police data that would have denied him a gun permit. Whose fault? - the county government and schools Cruz was in.
