Turnout numbers from last night’s special election in KY #HD49, which swung 86%pt toward Democrats and flipped a district from red to blue:
Total turnout: 25% of 2016 ballots cast Dem.: 74% of 2016 Rep.: 11% of 2016
I live in KY. What special election?
She was a dreadful candidate. The GOP has a talent for picking people impossible to support.
It was blue to begin with.
The job of the candidate is to inspire the voters. The voters don’t owe anybody anything.
Where was Mitch McConnell? This is his state.

1) A word on the KY state house race all the whacktard Ds are crowing about. Yes it was a “blowout”-—a district Trump won by a massive margin, now the D won by an equally big margin.
Big, big “however”:
This had nothing to do with turnout, “muh blue wave,” or anything.

The guy who killed himself and opened this seat was six kinds of strange to begin with. Maybe the voters thought his widow would be more of the same and stayed home?
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Democrats were so stupid as to stay home for reasons like that?
The GOP is full of brainless voters that make a virtue of tossing elections and thinking that makes the mess the Dem will reek somehow illagitamate.

No, nitwit, Trump isn’t going off the rails on anything, but the average idiot on our side will believe anything to justify their intellectual laziness in order to put a Democrat in a seat, and play victim.
Yea, there is a lot more to the story than “complacency”.... the guy died in office and they put his wife up for the seat... that rarely goes well....

The voter’s should already be inspired not to live under a Democrat.
The GOP moves Left and it pays the price. No one shows up or in my case I show up and write in names instead of voting for Republicans.
I’ve been doing that pretty much since 2014.
I voted for Trump and a few others, but the rest are blank or write-in.
They are wildly spending money in Washington right now and plan to raise gas taxes this year for “infrastructure”.
I don’t have to vote Republican and won’t vote Republican with all that going on among other things.
Political reality my friend. Suck it up and deal with it. Better yet don’t f with the Constitution.
