Sadly, that is what may happen. The “sexual dysphoria” is a result of her depression and anxiety - not the cause of it. When she figures that out that those feelings remain, even after treatment and operations, those suicidal thoughts will come back (if they ever left). 40% of transexuals attempt suicide.
Praying for this little girl. And yes, at 17, when a fully formed brain doesn’t happen until about 24 years - she is still a “little” girl. God damn this culture, the authorities and her psychologists that say this abomination is the way to make things right for her.
