These guys dont get that by hyping a movie based on politics, you are setting it up for a HUGE opening for sure, but then its B.O. will TANK within a week when the SJWs move on to their next shiny object.
The movie will now generate headlines about how far the ticket sales fell off in a short period (like The Last Jedi), and will expose it as being nothing more than a tool for people’s agendas.
Real blockbusters like Gone With the Wind, Wizard of Oz, and Titanic had people coming based on how actually good the film was, and people came back for 3 4 and 9 more screenings because they liked it that much.
I think it’s going to break records the first couple of weeks. Where will it stand in a couple of months? Who knows.
I think if it were just about the typical white guilt / black empowerment via lies and propaganda it would flop. It is however wrapped in the world of super hero fantasy where anything can happen. This genre has a TON of fans.
It will do well. Whether in the end it’s the biggest Marvel movie ever is yet to be seen.
Over seas will not do gangbusters.
