MN is a "blue state stronghold" like this castle is a stronghold.

Anyway, close race but Senate district 54 was a rat HOLD.

Republicans still control the legislature and have 2 sexellent US House pickup opportunities there.

D came in 5 points lower than Cankles did.

Three other races last night:
FL 23 (Sarasota) D won by about 5 (Ds breaking out champagne as this was a R seat, but turnout VERY low)

GA 175 Senate LaHood (R) won by about 15 points MORE than Trump did in 16. However, turnout was 9.8%!!!

OK Senate, R won but I don’t have details yet.

So in two nights, Rs 3/5, but very, very low turnouts.

I think people are just sick of elections and campaigns. This will likely change in November.

I posted a thread on Twitter about latest registration changes, still running overwhelmingly in our favor:

https://twitter.com/LarrySchweikart/status/963573312692527104

The ONLY battleground state not trending R is CO, and that only by 1,000 votes since Nov. 2016. Right now, Trump would likely win NH as well as all the states he carried, plus NM and NV and ME are dead even. Each has shown R gains.

Big gains in AZ, FL, NC, PA, and IA.

I definitely hope so. It just seems so depressing when we lose and easy one.

Sobering.

But the animals in DC would purge your live vote all too many times to keep their dead vote reliably democrat.

Wrong minority, you see. You’re a republican.

I think you are right. People are sick of elections and campaigns.

They want to see the coupsters in irons.

If the MSM are not talking about it then it was a bad night for them.

Yes, November will see high turnout on our side.

Everyone wants to see high up’s and others go to jail. It’s frustrating but we must be patient.

I fear the low turnout won’t change in November. People are sick of “politics” and elections and the Dems can win if the real citizens stay home. Don’t know how to change that do you?

Sad that the people who want to take our government over are so much more motivated than than the citizens who enjoy freedom. But that’s the way it is, no turnout from Republicans, all Dems taking these slots.

I don’t see a fix, do you?

Minnersota is loaded with voter fraud to begin with!! ANDANDAND I find it VERY hard to believe only 3000 voted, considering the polls were open DAILY for a week for early voting, no one can blame the weather! One wonders what happened to the absentee votes?/S AND AND AND I have personally witnessed social workers “helping” Seniors in retirement and nursing homes vote, and you can bet your fishbelly white ass that they arent Conservative or Republican social workers!!

If they are counting on that to vote, then we have a far bigger problem than coupsters.

George Soros is investing in local and state races. We better get excited or he will do some damage. Hopefully his people will continue the corrupt behavior and get kicked out. But we cannot be slack. In Texas we better get closed primaries or the democrats will continue to dilute our races.

The problem we have is that people believe the corruption is so deep-seated that nothing can be done to dislodge it. Ergo, low turnout.

That’s not it at all. I think it’s election fatigue.

Republicans believe that we elect people to do their jobs, and the rest of the time we do ours.

DemoKKKrats believe that elections ARE their jobs.
