A high school in Vermont's capital raised a Black Lives Matter flag Thursday morning in honor of Black History Month.
Students at Montpelier High School, where 18 of 350 students are black, took turns raising the flag in a ceremony attended by hundreds of students, staff and community members.
The decision to fly the flag had drawn criticism from Republican state legislator Thomas Terenzini, who told WPTZ this week that the school was setting "a bad example."

So it's okay to display something that represents hate and intolerance. One would think it would be forbidden. Not to mention the obvious indoctrination these kids have been subjected to. They took turns raising and lowering the banner? Sounds like the school admin was down with the struggle.

Any parent, who allows their children to go to this school, is guilty of child abuse.

I lived in the people’s republic of Vermont for 3 long years - If I saw any black people they had New York or New Jersey License plates.
I also hope they list all the black organizations that are helping out in Africa with food, medicine, doctors, clothing and helping to build housing. Seems the white racists are doing it by themselves.
I think they left out a "U" in that TV station's call sign. Totally appropriate for the capital of Bernie Sander's home state!
The U. S. flag supersedes that flag!

It’s the People’s Republic of Vermont. Color me not surprised.
The big news is that there are 18 black people in VT.
Note that, in the story, that the entire 5% of the the black population of Montpelier HS were there for the flag raising. All 18 of them.
I'd be curious to know if the no permit Concealed Carry law has been repealed, yet, now that Flatlanders have finished their invasion.
That is one messed up State. They probably had to look for a couple of weeks to find any people of color in that neck of the woods.
Time for a little flag burning.
