All 50,000 of them? Thats how many texts the FBI apparently lost in their retention system during the period of time in which agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page carried on an extramarital affair and might have injected partisan bias into the probe of Russian interference in the election. The bureau previously turned over 375 messages to congressional investigators, but when the panels asked for a broader range of messages, the FBI discovered that the messages had been deleted.
Jeff Sessions pledged to leave no stone unturned in getting those texts back, while Donald Trump continued to slam the FBI for its performance issues:
The Justice Departments inspector general is investigating why the FBI did not retain text messages for five months, including those exchanged by two senior officials involved in the probes of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said late Monday that he has spoken to Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz about the missing text messages and that a review is already underway to ascertain what occurred and determine whether the missing text messages can be recovered.
We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source, Sessions said in a statement.

They will appear as Hillary’s billing records from Rose Law. What it takes is expiration of the statute of limitations.

Remember, Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is first up; closely coordinating with House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte; closely coordinating with Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley; and all of them coordinating with the DOJ Office of Inspector General Michael Horowitz. This is a long developed plan.
In order to carry out the entire reform operation, communication is made through public letters. Sunlight is part of the strategy. Questioning each other publicly and answering each other publicly is part of the strategy… the media is not used to this. Deception needs whispers. Deception doesn’t like transparency…. Brilliant strategery, by golly.
Here’s the letter from Inspector General Michael Horowitz, via the strategic communication DOJ facilitator, Asst. AG Stephen Boyd:
The swamp dwellers are getting hit from all sides as they attempt to carry out their schemes and hide their trails.
Simultaneous to these public statements and releases of communication, all the communication networks of the FBI and DOJ officials are being monitored. The usurpers don’t know where to turn, and the media is struggling to figure out how to help them.
… Because Goodlatte and Nunes are working with a plan, that’s why.
Washington, D.C. — Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) released the following statement concerning the 384 pages of new text messages between top FBI officials:
“This weekend we met to discuss the text messages and possible next steps in our oversight of these agencies. The contents of these text messages between top FBI officials are extremely troubling in terms of when certain key decisions were made by the Department of Justice and the FBI, by whom these decisions were made, and the evident bias exhibited by those in charge of the investigation. The omission of text messages between December 2016 and May 2017, a critical gap encompassing the FBI’s Russia investigation, is equally concerning. Rather than clearing up prior FBI and DOJ actions, these recently produced documents cause us to further question the credibility and objectivity of certain officials at the FBI.”

Step 4: Bring Mr. Wray, Mr. Bitko (CIO) and Mr. Turgal (Executive AD, IT Branch) before Congress and, in a public hearing, find out where the hell those texts went and who is responsible. You really think they would tell the truth?

“....What bothers me about this is that Strzok and Page are still on the job. They should have been placed on admin leave and warned not to leave the country while the investigation is conducted.....”
Yep. Absolutely disgusting. IF this were the private sector, they’d be either be in jail, terminated or at the very least put on admin. leave without pay until further notice. Oh yeah, they need their passports pulled and be fitted with GPS ankle bracelets to keep them from fleeing the country.

Here might be a huge clue, Jeff. Kim Dotcom told y'all how to get Hillary's emails. Wouldn't surprise me if they have text messages, too:

Of course the question is, how much of that data has the NSA destroyed, or will destroy? How ‘mobbed up’ (aka ‘deep stated’) is the NSA? How well has DJT and the ‘white hats’ been able to drain that part of the swamp?
IF the NSA portion of the swamp has been RAPIDLY and well drained, there should eventually be enough evidence to indict and convict MANY on both sides of the House. IF all that data is released, can America survive the ‘cleansing’?

Perhaps not. It’s certainly not going to survive the deeply-embedded shadow people that hide all the crimes of Hillary and The Clinton Foundation. Tells you they all have enough to take each other down.
And who is all best buds these days? - W, Jeb!, Hillary, Obama - now why is that? The answer is obvious.

Oh hell no, but bring them in after you’ve identified when those texts were deleted and by whom/in what office/branch. In other words, do the “Flynn thing”; ask them questions the answers to which you already know and let ‘em hang themselves - in public.

I am back to wanting to give Jeff Sessions time. I think he knew about this stuff from the beginning. One does not just start yanking in threads or the whole ball of corrupt yarn will unravel way before one wants it to unravel. It needs to be done slowly, with painstaking accuracy and with all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed.
There is way more here than we can see and although some of us are lawyers, judges and in the know of how law works, most of us are not.
