Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham: 'I'm not going to vote' for funding bill [Grahamnesty Alert]

Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday he won't vote for a short-term spending bill -- also known as a continuing resolution or CR -- that Republicans are attempting to pass by Friday night to avoid a government shutdown.

The South Carolina Republican continued to push for the bipartisan proposal that he and five other senators pitched to the President last week -- which addresses the expiring Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program -- though that plan was rejected.

"I'm not going to vote for a CR," Graham told reporters Wednesday. "I want to be fair to the DACA population. I want to begin to fix a broken immigration system. But above all else I want to rebuild the military that's in a great decline. ... And there is no way in the world to fix this problem without dealing with the DACA issue."

Graham's announcement makes it more difficult for Republicans to pass the short-term spending bill in the Senate. With 51 votes in the chamber, the GOP already faced an uphill battle of getting to the magic number of 60 votes to advance the bill, meaning they would need help from Democrats even if all 51 Republicans were to support the bill.

Graham to join his fellow liberals in the Democrat caucus in holding government funding hostage to get amnesty for illegal aliens.

So Traitor Graham is depriving US citizens of their government in order to be fair to illegal aliens?

Disgusting.

That's the most weasly worded statement I've ever seen.

So—Graham is more interested in supporting 800,000 criminals over the US military.

Good to know.

Easy to paint them...they prefer illegal immigrants over having a functioning government. The prefer illegal immigrants over paying soldiers.

Nothing says “I am bought and paid for” more than putting the interests of a bunch of foreigners above U.S. security.

Lindsey Faggot is just doing what the Deep State donors want him to do: Engineer a “shutdown” and blame it on Trump.

Can you imagine a multi national corporation, preparing their annual budgets, and a group of factories, say about 10% say, that before they submit their budget for the coming year (s), they want the company to commit to increasing the dividend of the stock for all stock holders over 65? Or to commit to using only materials that come from 3rd would countries.

Might be time to start including aircraft in Iran sanctions. That will certainly get Linda’s attention with the huge operation Boeing has in his state.

See? My vote in SC for “the Democrat” (whoever s/he was) didn’t make a difference. I’d have gotten a “no” from the Democrat just like I’m getting from Graham. I can’t believe people voted for this hayseed again.

I’m not sure they can. That state is filling up with blue state refugees faster than you can say Linda Grahmnesty.

Remember the story of David and Goliath? It's time for a young David to emerge from the darkness of Progressive ideology into the light of freedom and break the legislative stalemate in Washington.

Who knows, if even one courageous lover of freedom, one who was born into this blessed nation through no effort of his/her own, would emerge to stand for the cause of liberty, then perhaps others might be emboldened to do what is right, instead of being bound by an authoritarian ideology and "groupthink."

Where is such a Progressive "David"?
