My original comment was speculation.
I do know that Nunes’ investigation was held up for several months because of the Ethics Committee investigation of him. I also know that some people on FR have blamed Gowdy for stopping the Benghazi investigation.
It is possible that Nunes and a Gowdy are playing on the same team. Time will tell.

I have to agree. I myself like Trey quite a lot. But all those hearings produced what? ZERO incitements. ZERO investigations. ZERO fines and prison terms. What’s the frigging point?

Even though I THINK Gowdy performed a service to the American People by his aggressive and passionate questioning, I think you have a point.
Gowdy is a firm member of The Club. Members of The Club never call a spade a spade. They just tap dance around it.............endlessly. There are a lot of lawyers in that Club. This is why we love Trump. He’s not in that Club.

SC peeps-— someone strong needs to run against Graham (not until next Sen. election in 2020.. but a “sea change” possible with Trump re-election coat-tails).
