I know you did not ask me, but all the Peruvians I know, speak Spanish. Portuguese is spoken in Brazil. Centuries ago, Spain and Portugal almost went to war over their New World conquests, they appealed to the Pope to arbitrate the matter. He drew a line through Latin America, and declared one side for Spain and the other for Portugal.
I knew a Brazilian at work, when he argued with Mexicans there, each would speak their own language, but they always knew what the other person was saying.
Merry Christmas !
Portuguese is spoken in the eastern areas of Peru near Brazil.
Makes sense :)
since i speak only English, they all spoke English, even a 4 year old.
They speak Spanish, English, German and Italian.
As their parents came from Germany and Italy to Peru after WW2
