NBC’s Tom Winter, Pete Williams, and Ken Dilanian report that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has ordered DOJ prosecutors to interview the FBI agents who investigated possible corruption in the Uranium One deal and its players’ links to the Clinton Foundation.

On the orders of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Justice Department prosecutors have begun asking FBI agents to explain the evidence they found in a now dormant criminal investigation into a controversial uranium deal that critics have linked to Bill and Hillary Clinton, multiple law enforcement officials told NBC News.
The interviews with FBI agents are part of the Justice Department’s effort to fulfill a promise an assistant attorney general made to Congress last month to examine whether a special counsel was warranted to look into what has become known as the Uranium One deal, a senior Justice Department official said.

Right here. And NOTHING will come of this action. Jeff Sessions is a loser.
Jeff may need to remind FBI interviewers to really take notes...perhaps make recordings...and allow a real prosecutor to review the evidence, and not have the Federal Bureau of Matters block the essential step of prosecutorial review by DoJ, ya know, do the opposite of Comey.

I believe Trump has Sessions working on the very things that are needed to bring down the “house of cards” that had been covertly built up ahead of a planned Clinton win. However, taking that house down needs to be done in a fashion that allows for the truth to form a tidal wave of political and polpular opinion to ensure the beast is truly slain. If anything that I’ve learned in this first year of Trump’s presidency is that he is a master at the timing of events he controls.

I think this is Trump’s way of telling Mueller it is time to shut down the special counsel. Mueller was at the heart of Uranium one and should this turn into a full scale investigation, someone is going to prison.
