WASHINGTON, DC — The U.S.-NATO coalition in Afghanistan has pulverized 25 Taliban labs used to process opium and its deadly heroin derivative, depriving the narco-jihadists of $80 million in illegal drug proceeds in the first three weeks of an unprecedented counternarcotics air campaign.
Since November 20, U.S. troops and their Afghan allies have been targeting the Taliban jihadists’ opium business in their Helmand stronghold, the top-poppy producing province in Afghanistan.

Despite more than $8.5 billion in American taxpayer funds devoted to combating the illegal narcotics trade in Afghanistan since 2001, the country remains the top opium producer in the world.

Obama has been treating the Taliban with gloved hands for the 8 years he was in office and allowed the Taliban to set up huge opiate production network to fund Islamic terror all over the world.
These opiates have flooded our country and destroyed the lives of millions of Americans.
Obama forced America's military to sit on the sidelines and watch the Taliban thumb it's nose at them while the Taliban drug labs sent poison to America's streets.
If the terrorists are doing it, we should be blowing it up.
If they are refining opium, we should be burning fields and blowing up labs.
If they are producing oil, we should be bombing wells and destroying tankers and pipelines.
If they are running call centers offering JAVA tech support, we should be bombing call centers and communications facilities.
We should be stopping them everywhere in every thing.
Don’t we have some kind of airborne drug-sniffing aircraft in the inventory? “Release the hounds!”
That’ll set um back a whole WEEK!!

If you went to the PhD guys and said to them...invent a fungus that kills the optimum poppys....they’d have the fungus ready to go in three or four years. At that point, the whole plant worldwide would be destroyed within a decade.

Sounding like a broken record, but it is a damn shame that our miiitary is not utilized to perform its simple function....To Destroy The Enemy and His Means To Wage War. Our troops would have been out of there a long time ago.
The future problem could be that the synthetic replacement is worse.

Agreed - Labs can be rebuilt - But destroy the poppy fields...
