Took my 86 year-old Mom to the poll at 1 p.m. We held our noses, did our civic duty, and cast 2 votes for Roy Moore. We much preferred Mo Brooks in the 1st GOP primary. Turn-out here in the Over-the-Mountain communities of Jefferson County was heavy.

I can vouch for the spending difference between the candidates, 1:14, Moore vs. Jones, just by the number of campaign signs in the yards. I have only seen 2 signs for Moore in the O-t-M communities, but boatloads for Jones.

There have been 2 municipal elections in our area over the last 2 years. The clear trend that emerged from both was that the younger generations, who are social media affluent, won both elections for the Democrats. I am greatly concerned this voting bloc is motivated and will show up today.

That's just crazy and how they defeated Huelskamp in Kansas and McDaniel in Mississippi. The DC establishment come in with tons of money and other shenanigans to defeat them. At least the recent Georgia congressional race bucked this and hopefully Roy Moore in Alabama tonight.
