Trump needs his own private army/ police force to fight the deep state. The establishment security services have been infiltrated and corrupted, the cannot be trusted to defend our President.

Perhaps he did. Perhaps POTUS & friends know all about it. If so, perhaps this is yet another example of Trump forcing the traitors to go on the record, just before the truth of their own prior actions (maybe current actions, as well) is “leaked”/released/exposed. There’s always been a method to his conscious irritation of the Swamp.

IMO, very little is said/done by this WH and it’s allies without careful preparation and a defined end game.
