anonymous donations? in this day of online and such?

forget the charities thing - the word is so distorted and misused. there are so many bogus charities of all sorts even religious. many misuse the monies they collect or receive. NONE should not be allowed tax breaks including churches. Just the fact they save on taxes is a seed for wrong thought in using the rest of the money the have. I helped count collections in churches and it was interesting to say the least.

I do agree with congress should have to abide by all laws for the public.

A strict accounting of all expenditures for legitimate purposes required, otherwise it would be as you say. And when we get the tax system to a flat tax or FairTax reduce the IRS to the few required to process and distribute donations, and audit the spending.
