For true national repentance, there needs to be recognition of objective standards that allow for any of these judgments to be made in the first place. There’s not. We’re not seeing careful consideration of how we got to this point — the abandonment of God as the source of all moral authority or, at the very least, a common recognition of natural law and traditional social norms.
Instead, we are seeing navel-gazing about how to rethink sex, what to do about the brutality of masculinity, and how to delegitimize conservatives who have been accused of abandoning character for political expediency.
Leftists aren’t embracing morality; they’re looking for a way to reclaim the moral authority they lost after past decades of materialism, creeping totalitarianism, and moral bankruptcy. Like fools drunk from their own power, they slipped out of their self-appointed divine seat as arbiters of morals and truth, and they’re now reclaiming it by whatever means necessary. They’re not humbling themselves before the true Moral Authority. They’re replacing it with their own.

Sexual harassment is the natural and necessary product of progressivism.
Agreed. One thing I learned about the left is how sex is so much part of their culture in terms of how it is used for that means specifically.
Those who want the government to regulate everything have but one thing that’s off limits: sex.

Political correctness is their morality. It’s their tool for acquiring power through some phony moral high ground. It’s morality that comes from man, not God. If it comes from man, it comes from the world. If it comes from the world, it comes from the devil.
That’s a fact. The left care only about power, and they will embrace any ideology, scheme, or platform; and ally themselves with any tyrant, demagogue, or despot in order to obtain or hold on to that power. To the left, power is EVERYTHING.
That explains Hollywood perfectly.

POWER must be removed from the governmental equation. They are supposed to be our SERVANTS, not our MASTERS! They are our EMPLOYEES, not our BOSSES!
It has to start with removing the ability to become fabulously wealthy on a mere $174K salary, in a high cost, high tax environment. All political donations must be ANONYMOUS; you can’t sell influence if you don’t know who is buying. All unspent campaign funds must revert to the treasury toward debt reduction or to designated charities (and NOT the Clinton Foundation type). All laws and regulations that apply to the public must apply to congress as well, no exceptions or exemptions.
And TERM LIMITS must become the law of the land. Two terms and out. The cream will rise to the top, as the very effective congressman will have a shot at two senate terms. Three years in the house, five years in the senate. The best few will serve sixteen years; the rest will be back at the jobs they had before their political service. They must provide for their own retirement like the rest of us.
That will eliminate those for whom wealth and power are the objective and leave those willing to SERVE.
It is important to stop and give thanks to the person who caused this great neutralization of these liberal icons; Hillary Clinton (The Gift That Keeps on Giving.TM) It was Hillary’s constant vilification of Trump for his supposed sexual harassment that caused women to come forward in solidarity and report how they had been harassed. It just so happens that sexual harassment and liberal views go hand-in-hand. So the women only had liberal Hillary supporters to report. Still, they came forward because their solidarity with Hillary was much more important than who they were exposing...and destroying.
Again, thank you, Hillary.
That is, per term. Longer house term, shorter senate term.

The (R)NC has shown it too will do anything it can/wants to stay in power.
Be careful on term limits. There is a learning curve to this stuff, and what you will be doing is effectively giving more power to long-term Congressional staffers and the unelected FedGov bureaucracy.
I too am uncomfortable with guys in Congress as long as say a Conyers, but a 2-term/4 year limit isn’t the answer, either.
That is why I suggest a three year house term. And the "deep state" unelected employees (bureaucrats) need to be rotated out of their current jobs to new ones frequently, to help prevent undue influence.
Navel-gazing is what caused the Confused Crotch Culture. They stopped exploring at the navel...did not look on down between their legs to see which biological equipment they had.

forget the charities thing - the word is so distorted and misused. there are so many bogus charities of all sorts even religious. many misuse the monies they collect or receive. NONE should not be allowed tax breaks including churches. Just the fact they save on taxes is a seed for wrong thought in using the rest of the money the have. I helped count collections in churches and it was interesting to say the least.
I do agree with congress should have to abide by all laws for the public.
