Appearing on ABCs This Week, National Public Radios Cokie Roberts admitted that for years the female press corps has covered up sexual misconduct on Capitol Hill.
While speaking about John Conyers and Al Franken, two Democrats facing numerous sexual misconduct allegations, Roberts let this bomb matter-of-factly drop on the left-wing Sunday show, I mean, we all talked about for years: Dont get in the elevator with him, you know, and the whole every-female in the press corps knew that, right, dont get in elevator with him.
Which him is Roberts referring to? Conyers? Franken? Are there others?
But back up just a moment According to Roberts, every woman in the press corps knew that there was sexual misconduct going on in congress, knew that it was so brazen and so permissive that not even a female reporter was safe on an elevator, and NO ONE REPORTED IT?
No one bothered to inform the public?
How do things get so brazen that a Conyers or a Franken or a whomever feels perfectly safe groping a journalist on an elevator? I will tell you how when said groper knows there will be no accountability for his behavior.

They do. It is a competition based on resentment with the weapon of choice being backstabbing.
What she meant was “the press corps covered up congressional Democrat sexual misconduct for years.”
Boston talker Howie Carr brought up her lazy elitism during her tv days. DC was in the middle of a cold spell, and she didn't want to go out and do a live shot, so they dressed her up in Winter clothes and stuck in front of a shot of the Capitol Building...
But only for Dems, undoubtedly.
A caller on Rush today said he thinks the dems that are not going to run again for office are the ones who were abusing women
According to Roberts, every woman in the press corps knew that there was sexual misconduct going on in congress,
And they ALL remained Silent because they believe that ALL WOMEN Deserve to be Sexually Assaulted, especially by powerful politicians.
There is NO Other answer.
She was a long-time panelist on the ABC News Sunday show. From Wikipedia: Roberts was the co-anchor of the ABC News' Sunday morning broadcast, This Week with Sam Donaldson & Cokie Roberts from 1996 to 2002, while serving as the chief congressional analyst for ABC News. She covered politics, Congress and public policy, reporting for World News Tonight and other ABC News broadcasts.
Mr. and Mrs. Roberts both were and still are in positions to blow the whistle on congressional miscreants if they so desire.
Who killed Hale Boggs Cokie?
What u hiding huh?

I hate that witch. The Eva Braun of news casting.
And how many of the female press corps were trading sex for access?
Son of Mia farrow...but not woody Allen I believe.
I wrote that with tongue firmly in cheek.
They will destroy their entire party to get Trump.
I hope they succeed in destroying their party.

After this and other admissions, who in their right mind still believes that the MSM doesn't hide and/or selectively reveal all kinds of corrupt and perverse behavior among the crowd they curry favor from?
Good for Cokie! Glad she let this slip—Drain the sewer. No more Old Boy Network. Get rid of the young girl pages—just old battle-ax feminists from now on—no more page/whores for the dirty old congressmen to lust over.
They did their best to cover up FDR’s polio problem,
Or, they’re cleaning house before the next election cycle. Setting off all the mines early; so they don’t blow up in their faces during the campaigns.
Yes, it’s easy to attack the liberal media for covering this up, but where was the conservative media on this? Were they also complicit? Doesn’t Fox News have reporters working on Capitol Hill? What about the N.Y. Post, the Washington Times, the Daily Caller, National Review, and Breitbart. Heck, Steve Bannon lived on Capitol Hill for years. If this was such an open secret why did they not report on it?
What fine feminists they all are. Women’s rights and all. Need some ice on that Cookie?
