David Graham, a writer at The Atlantic, thinks it might not be a good idea to annoy your fellow Thanksgiving guests with discussions about politics. However, this year he is making an exception and is urging his fellow liberals to attempt reeducating the "unenlightened" Thanksgiving guests with a plethora of leftist talking points. Why? Because of President Donald Trump.

For the past couple of years, when one of my idiot nephews says something stupid, I just flatly say “I do not agree”. I am tired of my polite silence being taken for agreement. When they try to mix it up, I say again that I do not agree, but would rather not get into it during the holiday gathering.

Whenever somebody wants to talk about Accused Child Molester Roy Moore, I will have them read the back of the card aloud, then insist that they refer to me as “Accused Bicycle Thief...” for the rest of the night.
Sooner or later, liberals will make a statement that's just absurd on its face.
You wait for that to happen, and then you just say, without emotion, "why is that?" or "how do you know that?"
Shorter is better. A simple 'why' at the right moment can discombobulate them, and then... as they struggle to recover their virtue-signaling momentum, you just change the subject.

We’re having a pleasant Thanksgiving in Blanchard, ID with like-minded friends. Alcohol, tobacco and firearms will be enjoyed in the course of the celebration. We all have a great deal to be thankful for.
