Uijeongbu has been a military town for a long time. I think US troops are still there but their presence is much smaller.

Although I guess I didnt learn geography well enough - I didnt realize that, according to the headline, one can enter North Korea from Louisiana! Ya learn sumtin new every day!

Please note that in LA there is an enormous underclass of poor blacks for whom “school” is merely a holding place for “prison”.
They put absolutely no value on the white mans’ learnin’, and they do indeed skew the curve.
Almost every Louisianan I have ever met has been Good People, and not dumb.
