This thread is nothing but a Sessions bashing thread, by people that don’t even know everything that is going on, just like everybody else.
No, he literally said ten minutes ago that prosecution = retaliation and it ain’t gonna happen on his watch.
Guess we’ll have to hope MbS brings enough of our deep state swamp down to slow the rest down.
If he is refusing to prosecute for political reasons, he needs to get out.
No one knows everything about any subject. I can only comment on what I see. What I see is a very weak Attorney General who is, apparently, refusing to investigate hundreds, if not thousands, of obvious felonies. If you know something different, please say so. (Apologies if you've already said so.)
Sadly, the actions (or lack thereof) of the wimpy, limp-wristed AG leaves MUCH to be desired.

The establishment fears a backlash, because they feel like they outlast the presidential terms. So, they don't prosecute the other side, afraid that their turn would be next.

Well just listen to Jackson Lee, she will clarify the purpose of the hearing. It is to throw a little bit of this and a little bit of that into the pot. She is completely out of control.

But this only applies to the Republican establishment. The Democrats are happy to use the legal system as a partisan weapon.

Counties ruled by a strong iron hand, do not generally have the problems we have in open warfare against our new government. We have gone soft on criminals and those working criminally against the President. Guilty of treason is not used any more. Destroying property/cities is allowed by our law enforcement. Money laundering and other criminal activity for purpose of destroying our President is considered normal in these times and no one takes action. The lying of our government officials and the media is considered normal for these times.
We have gone soft on all of the above and so it will continue. The way to stop it is to arrest, hold everyone accountable, and use the prisons and/or the death penalty.
The media would go mad if these things were put back into force... and the left would also.. gone soft and so we are being destroyed from within... bite by bite...

The leftist Dems are so full of it, because obviously the Russians would have preferred a very weak on defense democrat admin over a strong Trump-Pence one, as they are in the process of basically restoring the evil empire.
It was Obama who slashed our military budget while handing Putin everything he wanted and more on such critical things as missile defense and nukes, including the insane Iran nuke deal that Putin loved so much. Then there was the Hillary/Obama/Podesta Uranium One deal, and the dossier.
Simply put:... Sessions is operating in yesteryear and is NOT focused on draining the swamp.
