Liberal NY Times Columnist: “I Believe Juanita” Broaddrick
FinkelBlog ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 11/14/2017 5:44:04 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

A liberal New York Times columnist has written that she believes Juanita Broaddrick’s allegation that Bill Clinton raped her.

The headline of Michelle Goldberg’s current New York Times column is “I believe Juanita.” Goldberg explains:

“Of the Clinton accusers, the one who haunts me is Broaddrick . . . Put simply, I believe her.”

Adds Goldberg, “it’s fair to conclude that because of Broaddrick’s allegations, Bill Clinton no longer has a place in decent society.”

Get the rest of the story here.

It’s late in the game, but is the liberal firewall that has been protecting Bill Clinton for decades finally breaking?

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.

Now you tell us. Now that it doesn’t matter, now that Democrats are desperate to get Hillary Clinton to leave the stage you suddenly believe what we here have known for a quarter century.

No, the liberal firewall protecting BJ Clinton will hold.

To quote Hillary on other matters, “This is in the past; it’s already been litigated.” (This incident hasn’t been litigated, which is the problem. BJ should have been jailed, not President.)

The Dems want Hillary off the stage, and will use her complicity in Bill’s perversions to usher her off. Plus Obama covets that Clinton donor list and dough for his own Foundation.

It is possible that the Clintons, like Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein, are once powerful, but now marginal, players in the media-government complex, and are about to be thrown overboard in order to protect more sinister and more perverted interests, such as the Podesta brothers and the Obama machine. It also provides cover for the Uniparty elites, including scoundrels like Ted Cruz, Hugh Hewitt, etc, to pile on Roy Moore.

No it’s not breaking.....they’re pushing the narrative against Moore by using Juanita
Laura Ingraham did the same thing last night....i.e.( she had Juanita on)
‘ Juanita, they didn’t believe you either’....( said in a gentle tone)

I’m disgusted with the lot of them

Exactly. The Times isn't suddenly troubled by the decades-old rape charges against Sick Willy. It's a signal that the Clintons are no longer seen as valuable assets of the Party.

The key piece of her article:
Writing at Crooked.com, Brian Beutler warns that in future elections, right-wing propaganda will exploit the progressive commitment to always taking sexual abuse charges seriously. It’s easy to imagine an outlet like Breitbart leveraging the “believe women” rallying cry to force mainstream media coverage of dubious accusations.
Regarding the Moore coverage, and demands that the female accusers be believed, she's worried that the Democrat side may be MUCH more vulnerable to accusations of sexual misconduct (as the WeinStein case shows) than the Right, especially since now the MSM no longer is able to suppress stories from going viral.

Its 20 years late and countless billions of $$ short.

On the other hand....if Clinton had resigned, Gore would have become POTUS and might have won re-election 2X. That being said, in hindsight, its hard to tell how much better W was than Gore. They’re both members of the Uniparty.

Yes. Now, let them consider that role Hillary! played in covering up the rape. Let that sink in.

The media have not all of a sudden become honest.

Read the article.

The author said the charges against Clinton were “a blizzard of lies” but Juanita, as she calls her, was probably being truthful.

Then the author said the right wing should stop using Clinton to defend Roy Moore and Trump. Trump and Moore are much worse than Clinton the author says.

This is just more Democrat Party propaganda and part of the media attack on Roy Moore.

Of course. Bill is almost dead. Hillary is politically dead. The Clinton machine is now neutered. Now - now - after all these years it is politically safe for liberals to come forward and announce they believe Broaddrick.

They never, ever believed Juanita when there would have been any political cost at stake, but now they bravely start to admit they believe Broaddrick. For decades they actively suppressed Broaddrick’s claim and did everything possible to discredit her or assist others discredit her, but now the coast is clear and they can profess they believed her all along because it now helps the political narrative against a republican.

Spare me.

Tell me you believe the minor children who were rapped by Sen. Menendez and likely Bill Clinton and Podesta, and other Democrats and then I sit up and take notice.

Hey, Michelle, you are lucky you weren't a young woman when Bubba was in his prime! I think he would want to meet you in his hotel room to discuss a job as an intern.
