Roy Moore gave a terrible interview on Hannity today. He should have waited until after research was completed and thought was applied. Moore really did say something like “if I did then I guess I did” when asked if he dated one of these girls.
I’d prefer he had simply said yes or no.
I can remember the era that it was still before the huge increase in divorce. A young man returning after college, a tour in the military including Vietnam, and time in law school would have seen his normal age cohorts of females already married.
I can see dating women between 18 and 24 because they were the ones available to date.
14...16...no. But high school thru college graduates, yes.
Nor should we pretend that older men don’t date younger women. They do. And the media celebrates it in the rich and famous.

Who cares, this is a bunch of politically motivated lies.
That’s all YOU should be focused on...man-up!
I heard it. It didn’t seem as though he was trying to prevaricate but get details accurate. That’s not easy for me to do on things that happened TWENTY years ago. I can’t even remember the names of women I dated.
When I was 22 I was dating a man 35. If I had met him when I was younger I would have dated him then. Wound up being my first husband and my daughters father. Didnt last but......shrug.
Its all totally ridiculous. 100 years ago my great-grandfather, a bachelor farmer and property owner, 39 years of age, courted my great-grandmother, a 19 year old beauty of the parish. They married a year later. The union lasted for 50 years and produced 10 children. He lived to be 92! Inappropriate? I think not. Healthy and wholesome? I think so!!!
