The White House punched back at both Presidents Bush on Saturday over their criticism of fellow Republican President Donald Trump as a destructive force in the party.
“If one presidential candidate can disassemble a political party, it speaks volumes about how strong a legacy its past two presidents really had,” a White House official told CNN. “And that begins with the Iraq war, one of the greatest foreign policy mistakes in American history.”
The Bushes let loose on Trump in a new book on their careers and presidencies, “The Last Republicans,” said media reports.
“He’s a blowhard,” said President George H.W. Bush, who was president from 1989 to 1993.
His son George W. Bush thinks that Trump’s ego and lack of humility could tear the GOP apart.
“I’m worried that I will be the last Republican president,” said the younger Bush, who was president from 2001 to 2009.
Neither man voted for Trump last year.

I’m so sick and tired of backing balless politicians that the Donald and his big mouth is music to my ears. I love the way that he responds to cheap shots with nuclear cheap shot rebuttals. If you’re a “Rodney King” type, Trump ain’t your cup of tea.

The old perv Bush Sr. rails against Bob Dole; for what its worth, Bob Dole was the one Republican presidential candidate who had the grace, decency and loyalty to show up in Cleveland at the Republican nominating convention while the old perv slyly put out that he was voting for Hillary and the brain-challenged son said he wouldn’t vote for Trump. I still remember perv Bush Sr. using his inauguration speech, after he had won the presidency in 1988 only due to the public perception that it would be a Reagan Third Term, by publicly dissing Reagan and his policies and dumping on the Vietnam War (”surely, there is a statute of limitations” for the war), insidiously comparing it to a criminal enterprise while his own sons, including the congenital idiot GW, dodged the draft. Go back to your primary concerns, Bushes, whether the country club needs a new chef and if your buds across the aisle will invite you to join them for dinner there. I voted for both bushes and they lied and effed up America. No more Bushes. No More!! Period!!

When I see he with his nose in Michelle’s crack giggling with her like a couple of school girls it fills me with absolute disgust. He was an unmitigated disaster as president and I’m ashamed I ever supported him.
If the Bushes were Republicans and Trump can destroy their weak legacy, then good riddance to the RNC.
I am personally done with the Republican party. I changed my voter registration to (I) and voted for Trump while these Bush clown tried to give us Yeb(!) as a third Bush. No thanks!

George HW was always suspect and more direct in his role. Reagan’s adding him to his WH was always a compromise to the party players.
