Göttingen, Germany: AfD members must inform their landlords of membership in the party
Geller Report ^ | 11/4/17 | Pamela Geller

Posted on 11/04/2017 8:15:17 AM PDT by markomalley

A judge in Göttingen, Germany has declared that AfD members must inform their landlords of their party membership. Supposedly being a member of “right-wing” AfD makes them targets for violence and vandalism. If that’s true, it’s the fault of Muslims in Germany, not AfD members. It is an extremely dangerous sign for the future if people in Markel’s Germany must now declare their political affiliations, at least if they’re on what the enemedia call the “far right,” in order to apply for housing. This is obvious and unacceptable discrimination. Germany is once again becoming a fascist state.

“Court dispute for lease: defeat for Göttingen AfD politician,” translated from “Gerichtsstreit um Mietvertrag: Niederlage für Göttinger AfD-Politiker,” HNA, November 2, 2017 (thanks to Lisa):

Goettingen. The state chairman of the young AfD organization Young Alternative, Lars Steinke, has to look for a new apartment due to a court decision.

The local court Göttingen was now a claim for annulment of his landlady instead. Reason: The 24-year-old had concealed his landlady that he could be a potential target for left-wing violence because of his political activities. According to the court, he should have informed her about his special role, because this could also affect the rental property, a spokesman said. Since he failed to do so, the lease was made by fraudulent misrepresentation and thus void.

The 24-year-old moved to the apartment in Göttingen in July 2017. Several months later, the landlady moved to court to challenge the lease – with success: The district court Göttingen referred in its decision on the relevant case law of the Federal Court. Accordingly, there is a fraudulent deception even if someone conceals facts about which a contractor in good faith can expect clarification. For example, a car salesman must point out when a used car had an accident.

The Goettingen functionary of the “Young Alternative” had himself in posted posts to point out that he sees himself as the target of left activists. Since this circumstance was significant for the decision on the conclusion of the lease, he would have had to inform his landlady without asking, the court ruled. In fact, it had come in the subsequent period to property damage and arson in the area of the house, including at garbage cans.

In March, the car of the 24-year-old, who had parked there at the edge of the road, went up in flames in front of the house. The heat also damaged another car and a nearby balcony railing. The court pointed out that similar incidents had already occurred at its former home address in Göttingen.

Right you are about the NAZIs. They had in each neighborhood a “Blockleiter”, aka block watcher. They whole idea was to report anything suspicious to Gestapo headquarters there. People who seemingly had no reason to be there; anyone who said anything improper about the government, potential enemy agents et al. all were reported.

The last time Germany sought to protect an embattled minority, they made the members of the embattled minority wear armbands and post signs in the windows of their stores. Then, the members of the embattled minority were rounded up, for their own protection of course, and placed in camps. Roosevelt did the same thing with the Japanese in Hawaii and California, only he didn’t pursue a final solution. This is where countries go when they do not defend the rights of each person. Our rights are, as is stated in our Declaration, unalienable, and governments are formed to protect our rights. If there are criminal gangs attacking any of us, the government should break up those gangs and prosecute the members of those gangs, not join in with those gangs. In the pledge of allegiance to the flag, when we say “with liberty and justice for us,” it is not really a statement of fact, it is a commitment we make to each other; i.e., it is a pledge.

How far are we from Jews wearing yellow stars? Though Jews aren’t a target of this, isn’t this the same kind of thing, where certain people are targeted as “undesirables”?

Typical Orwellian Communist logic: it’s his fault that deranged Leftists and Muslims attack him.

So he must be pushed out of his home, not them.

Germany has ALWAYS be a fascist state with only a thin veneer of civilization overlying it. That is one of the reasons there has been so little resistance to the penetration of the country by the Islamic horde, who are themselves supporters of a fascist ideology.

Germany, along with a number of other European countries, is fast falling away altogether from being even a nominally Christian country. There, there is no such doctrine as separation of church and state, all the permitted religious denominations are essentially clients of the State. A tax is collected from the citizens of the nation, for the express purpose of making a transfer payment to the various church denominations, based on whichever church organization the citizen claims allegiance with. There is a STRONG incentive to declare “No religious affiliation” just to escape paying this modest tax, and those who do, do not consider it an obligation to also attend services. As a consequence, most church services throughout Germany and most of Europe are very lightly attended except by the very old and/or lonely.

Into this vacuum, comes Islam. Promising some kind of redemption through violent actions, thousands of young unchurched people are seduced into membership, from which, alas, there is no turning away, else the other Muslims hunt you down and kill you. This appeals to the violent nature of the converts, who in turn become the most enthusiastic “enforcers” of compliance with what has by now become Shariah Law, essentially home-grown Taliban.

National Socialism with the power of a supernatural deity to back up the demands put on people for conformity and compliance.

The American courts routinely rejected the violent heckler’s veto, saying that it is the obligation of the government to protect the speaker and punish the violent, not silence speech on fear of violence.
Silencing the speaker - or in this case, labeling and punishing the dissident - shows tolerance for the tactic and results in more of it, while providing justification for violence fascist tactics against those who still dare speak.

The local court Göttingen was now a claim for annulment of his landlady instead.

This translation is a little garbled. The original German read:

Das Amtsgericht Göttingen gab jetzt einer Anfechtungsklage seiner Vermieterin statt.

A better translation might be:

The local court of Göttingen has now sustained [i.e., ruled in favor of] the landlady's [i.e., the Plaintiff's] action for annulment [i.e., of the original decision].

Göttingen, Germany: AfD members must inform their landlords of membership in the party

Something is rotten in Germany.

What sort of misguided law is that?
Are Catholics required to divulge their religion because they might attract anti-catholic killers putting the entire building at risk?

Moderate Muslims?
Radical muslims?
Killer Muslims?
How about gays and other perverts?

One of the clearest slippery slopes ever invented... beyond simple fascism--- social as well as economic and political
