Georgetowns website proclaims it is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institute of higher learning in the United States and is deeply rooted in the Catholic faith. One campus group is learning, however, Georgetowns roots might not be deep enough.
Love Saxa is a recognized student group on the Georgetown campus, and it exists to promote healthy relationships on campus through cultivating a proper understanding of sex, gender, marriage, and family among Georgetown students. Given the emphasis the Catholic Church puts on these issues (for example, see here and here), and Love Saxas alignment with church doctrine, one might believe it safe to assume Love Saxa is squarely within safe territory at a Catholic university.
But, oh, the perils of assumption. Love Saxa is in danger of being stripped of its status as an official student group. Its offense: holding to a Catholic view of human sexuality.

Sue the University for false and misleading statements as to their commitment to the Catholic faith.
Not a Catholic university!
Yeah, well. (see tagline)
The Jesuits haven't been Catholic for over four decades. Our current pope proves that truth.
Back in El Salvador, the Jesuits ran (and still run) the UCA—University of Central America. During the era of El Salvador’s guerrilla war the UCA was home to the “Popular Church” and its Marxist “Theology of Liberation.
According to Monsignor Alfredo Delgado, the fully radicalized priests stayed in a dormitory called UCA One. Priests that were just very liberal stayed in UCA Two. And those few priests who still persisted in living according to all that old Bible and Jesus stuff had to live off-campus in Santa Tecla about 16 kilometers away.
Georgetown is just taken its cue from the commie pope.
Georgetown has been Jesuit-Communist for a half-century.
