British Airways is the latest airline to face the wrath of the internet after a passenger claimed the plane he was on was infested with bed bugs.
According to his Twitter, Eric Neilsen, his fiance, Heather Szilagyi, and her daughter were on their way to Slovenia for a funeral, so they found themselves on an overnight flight from Vancouver to Heathrow.
The trip left the three of them covered in insect bites allegedly cause by bed bugs. A report on The Guardian said Szilagyi first saw the bugs on the seat in front of her and near the TV monitor.

Have they been flying in Somali refugees in the middle of the night, like the US does?

I guess British Airways is flying some of it’s “muslim citizens” around it that same plane. Glad the infestation wasn’t “goat turd ticks,” they’re a real b1tch!

Don't know if it's true or not but I've seen it written that $500 a night Manhattan hotel rooms have been found to have bedbugs.

Another reason I prefer to sleep in my own bed and not fly anywhere.

It’s true. Last time I was in NYC, I actually counted different species of bed bugs and considered sleeping in the bathtub. Staff did nothing but change the sheets and towels, (they must have been infested with them themselves).

I wonder if they are smart enough to know how to rid that plane of them.
Over 120 degrees for one hour and that kills them. Then a spray and a cleaning to kill the eggs.
Little bastards cant handle heat.

Take a peek at the website The Bed Bug Registry. You can look by hotel, city or region. Scary interesting.

Notice it seems to center around NYC a lot. This bug was almost rare in America until the influx under Obama of the unwashed millions.
