I agree that the Secret Service should be on duty everywhere the President is. If they have some protocol about letting the Capitol Hill police handle that beat, it needs to stop.
Not should be...they DO HAVE authority over every LE unit, the SSEP detail has one Prime Directive, protect the President by any means necessary. Period.
