I’ve been telling FReepers for years. Read the US Army’s Psyops manual, logical fallacies section, written around 1962. You can see the propaganda techniques all politicians use.
They don’t answer the question that was asked. That is LEARNED. They reply with logical fallacies like “affirming the antecedent,” or “glittering generalities” or “post hoc ad hoc propter hoc.” It’s fascinating and frustrating, but enlightening to recognize the manipulation techniques they use on the unsuspecting.
