Hope Daddy has other kids to leave the family business to since this one is a real dufus. Better yet, kick him out on his own with no trust fund for 5 years and maybe that’ll wake him up.

"conservatives are interested in being able to propose their ideas without any political opposition to their right to speech.”

Considering the reality of today's campuses, I wonder if this kid is even sane. He seems incapable of recognizing objective reality.

Born looks like someone who might - say - start shooting at Republicans on a softball field.

The student is an intolerant bigot, capable of making self serving, specious arguments and nothing more.

That's not anything that she actually said.

At 67, SJL is pretty wrinkly herself.

But people now believe she did because somebody made up that meme.

This poor soul has undoubtedly been praised his entire life for being "exceptionally brilliant" and that his ideas are indisputable and beyond critique.

What is truly sad is that he will necessarily need to spend his entire life within the "academia elite" bubble lest he come face to face with reality and dissolve into a weeping, broken mess of a person.

Princeton once had one of the best math departments anywhere. Do they now buy into this nonsense as well?

Ivy League grads are the future elites, the people who will run our corporations and our government agencies—no matter who we elect. A civil war seems to me not only likely but inevitable.

“But when students at schools like Princeton who will be assuming positions of power in America say this crap I am scared to death. “

And rightfully so.

Interesting point about dumbing down English curriculum. My daughter is an English major. She is reading Jan Eyre for a class. I thought people read that in high school. I guess I don’t mind, since good literature can be read and re-read over the course of a lifetime and you will get a different experience out of it each time. At least they are reading classics at all, and not lesbiana or crit theory novel deconstruction.

Takes some life experience to start appreciating books like Middlemarch or Jane Eyre.

That I don’t know. I do see folks in the diner doing elaborate mathematical problems, though. They’re invariably Asian.

Born closes by stating that there exists "no such thing as 'social free speech,' where 'free' refers to a right to speak free from obstinate opposition. And if conservatives disagree, they are welcome to it. I, and others, are happy to respond accordingly."

If by "obstinate opposition" Mr. Born is referring to the campus trend of shouting down conservative speakers and physically attacking the attendees, then let me remind him that the first amendment has many parts. Along with freedom of speech comes the freedom to peaceably assemble and the freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Those three only work together when people peaceably assemble, which is not this SJW's objective.

Many of them (and our country) would be ultimately better off at a ‘top tier’ vocational/technical school.

Assuming they could meet that pesky ‘common sense/work ethic’ prerequisite . . .
