In a significant timeline change, Sheriff Lombardo reveals Mandalay Bay security guard, Jesus Campos, was shot BEFORE the Las Vegas attack started.
Las Vegas sheriff says Mandalay Bay security guard was shot 6 minutes before first shots were fired at crowd., reports ABC News.
[SNIP]
Paddock shot the unarmed Campos in the leg as he was moving toward the room outside in the hallway, The Daily Beast reported being told by Dave Hickey, president of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America.
Campos had taken an elevator to the 32nd floor of the hotel because the stairway door had been blocked, The Daily Beast said, and when Campos got to the door where he suspected Paddock was barricaded, he was met with gunfire through the door.
The wounded Campos then radioed casino dispatch informing them of his and Paddocks location in the hotel. Police said the suspect fired some 200 rounds at them as they approached the room, The Daily Beast noted.

How about this possibility?
So-called hero guard is part of conspiracy. He takes one from the team and then takes no further action until he hears the shooting stop.
That gives the conspirators time to get away. Paddock is left for dead.
The “hero guard” plays out his role as long as possible then disappears, either by stealth to meet his handlers, or because they see he is a liability (although they want to take credit so why would any evidence pointing to them be suppressed by them?)
Paddock could have been a willing conspirator and done some of the shooting but with two broken windows, you have to wonder if there weren’t one or two other men in the suite, and also, there’s the slight chance that Paddock was never in on the plan, although he brought in the guns for some unrelated reason such as a clandestine gun show for what he had been told would be arrivals the next day. Thinking the conspirators were an advance set-up team, he welcomed them in and got shot? Possible. Anything’s possible if the security guard isn’t saying everything he actually saw, or if he deliberately ignored some events.
Obviously his wounds were rather superficial compared to what one might expect if a maniac unloaded 200 shots at him through a door, but then if that all happened a minute later and one convenient flesh wound was administered before he got out of the way, then no mysteries. It does seem a bit contrived to involve this dude at all, most of what I described would have been easier to do without him around at all. So maybe he was an instant recruit. (hey brother, don’t ask questions and roll up your pant leg).
Campos went to check on a door alarm that had been set off.
And this was prior to the start of the shooting.
I don’t think the windows had been broken when Campos arrived.
Freerepublic has officially gone off the rails. And to think a lot of you guys clown on Alex Jones - his conspiracies are quite tame in comparison to some of the absurd bs I’ve been reading about this attack.
Maybe, just maybe Paddock was a bored, suicidal rich guy who was disillusioned with life and wanted to go out with a bang. There is literally no evidence what so ever that any part of this attack was a grand conspiracy yet the theories continue....
Your line of work is obvious. Let readers take note of how this mole packed his post full of insults and smears, in his lame attempt to discredit/demean legitimate discussion.
Note the deliberate inclusion of words and phrases he is attempting to discount and dismiss: “gone off the rails” “clown” “conspiracies” “absurd” “no evidence” “grand conspiracies”. The term conspiracy theory is a CIA-created phrase used to validate false explanations by discrediting true explanations.
Many Freepers, and other patriots, are just beginning to realize the breadth and depth of deception on the part of fellow Americans whose loyalties lie in their Deep State paychecks.
Thank God there are still some prominent, credible Americans raising valid questions about events and the people who run the gov’t. Thank God for the ensuing examination, questioning, and analysis. Thank God for patriots who question “authority”.
Continued use of Alinsky smear/demean discrediting tactics rings hollow in the face of Truth. Whatever the Truth is in this particular case, we may or may not ever discover.
What matters more is the awakening of patriots to the extent Americans have lost their Republic, their liberties, their country, over to nefarious creatures who suck the life out of ordinary, hard-working, good Americans.
Come on, and no 911 calls in about shots fired on the 32nd floor? Or the 33rd or 31st?
BS.
What kind of serious chat do you think they are having? My impression has been that the FBI has been trying to impose a narrative upon the sheriff.
I’ve been trying to think of a way someone could block or lock a stairwell door without being too obvious about it,”
You put sheet metal screws in the door to the frame from the hall way side or take a 4’ piece of pipe and secure it across the opening to the panic door handle if it is the old type.
The door is “blocked” in yankee terms or what I would call, will not open from the stair well.
“Then I realized someone had mixed up pieces from two different puzzles. This shooting reminds me of that.”
That is because the Government Keystone Cops have their thumb in the pie and we will never know the full truth thanks to the Communists that pulled this off and the MSM collusion.
Maybe his schedule was thrown off?
Maybe his target wasnt the concert? Was something else going on after or the next day? If the shooter was still prepping and Jason Andean was on his last song (as reported repeatedly), it seems likely the concert was not the target...
I think in one of the articles, or maybe it was the CNN interview, it said the cops encountered a metal plate screwed into the stairway doors - but luckily one of them had a prybar.
The shooter had that end to himself, so figured he could do it unnoticed.
Hmm - the guard said he observed a maintenence worker in one of the rooms - iirc it was the room with the door ajar. What if the shooter put on a worker’s jumpsuit when he screwed the door shut just in case someone approached?
But - having spent all the weeks and months in those fancy hotels, he must have realized those doors have alarms on them. Either told during one of his hundreds of check-ins, or leaving the door open to get some ice?
Seeing as it was several doors down from his room - it may have been a coincidence.
Or someone else was in on it. Even if someone was in on it - it may still not be some huge terrorist plot. It may have been some guy that the rich guy promised a bunch of money to. Although just a lot of money alone doesn’t seem like enough motive to help a guy with a mass shooting. Unless he didn’t realize that was what it was about.
And when he figured it out he disappeared, didn’t go pick up the car out of the garage for the escape, etc.
There sure is a lot of questions with regard to this shooting. And I wish we could trust the media and government to give us the straight scoop once it is all over.
Woman warning prior to the concert - other people interviewed, concert security that escorted her out.
Multiple shooters - shooting from a low building to the north of the site should have numerous bullet holes on the north side of walls and buildings that the shooter could not have hit.
Same goes for reports of shooters at other buildings - bullet holes, eyewitness reports, etc. There are dozens of videos of the shooting at the concert. I would expect more than a few videos that allude to other shooters (the cabbie, the woman at the Bellagio).
Gorilla Construction Adhesive. Dries in 30 seconds. Just before you are about to do your thing, apply all along the edges of the door, then close the door. It will be hard to open.
For an added measure, since the door opens inward on the stairwell, it needs a handle on the stairwell side. If you remove the handle, it would be harder to open the stair door without tools.
Key here, is WHAT door was alarmed. I don't think it was the room door. Guests will often leave the room door ajar for various reasons. When I would go to a resort hotel with other families, we would get rooms next to each other, and the kids would go back and forth from one room to another, to join the group watching TV in room A, or the group playing video games in B.
Now, if the STAIRWAY door was propped ajar, that would be a violation of fire codes, and would merit checking.
Yes, I would be interested if it was the stairwell door.
I want to know if there is access to the 35th floor from the stairwell. The Four Seasons hotel is located on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay.
The real question is why did Paddock only shoot for ten minutes? When he had plant of ammo left and a stockpile of rifles.
You mean paddock didn’t act alone,I’m shocked.
Here is the real story if anyone is interested.

MegaAnon has to say,very revealing.
We agree—the narrative is changing, and the Sheriff’s revelation does not help the FBI tie this case up in a nice bow.
I trust the Sheriff more than the FBI, as the FBI has a horrendous record when it comes to the truth over the last 25 years—Ruby Ridge,Waco,Oklahoma City,TWA 800, Richard Jewell and the Atlanta bombing, Fast and Furious, Comey/Lynch/Clinton and the murder of LaVoy Finicum in Oregon.
Watching the FBI minder at Friday’s presser with the Undersheriff tells you all you need to know.
Yet, not a single video from the front desk, the elevator, hallways or wherever of the guard or Paddock. Not one.
It's obvious that whatever occurred is not being made available to the public. Whatever it is, it must be something that will reflect very poorly on the FBI. I'll spare you my theory.
At this point I’m not even sure what they mean by “blocked”.
Blocked to keep it from opening or blocked to keep it from closing?
How would any of this help the shooter to escape? It seems incredible to me that he would think he could do it. Maybe if he had someone else in the motel helping him?
Open all the time?? I've never left mine open. That's what those little cards are for.
Paddock blocked the stairwell door with a metal bar.
I think they said it was done with screws and a bar.
