I'll include more links below - Awan's hearing was yesterday, and continued until 11/20.
Lawyer Gowen and Imran Awan were caught in several lies/omissions/ and Gowen was surprised. (Gowen also involved with Clinton Foundation)

Defense lawyers ALWAYS ‘feel strongly’ when the evidence is going against them, it is part of their DNA. If they cannot argue the facts or the law, they are going to the nearest microphone and express how strongly they feel. Cue Babs and her saccharine “Feelings” theme song!

“Lawyers for Imran Awan, an ex-aide who ran information technology (IT) for Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, feel very strongly that data recovered from a hard drive on Capitol Hill should not be valid as evidence because he put a note that said attorney client privilege near it before leaving it in a phone booth”
this makes absolutely no freaking sense at all.

Your honor, the client dropped off the murder weapon with me and i left a note on it that says “attorney client privileged”.

George Webb has all this covered as well and Jason Goodman literally ran Imran and his zillion dollar lawyer down chasing them block after block after the hearing asking them questions he know they would couldn’t answer.THey both are doing stellar work and should be followed.

“because he put a note that said attorney client privilege near it before leaving it in a phone booth”
all crooks need to remember this trick the next time they need another “Get Out of Jail” card:
1. Leave stuff in phone booth (IF they can find one).
2. Leave note with stuff in phone booth.
(I wonder if this might become a new way to dispose of bodies?)

is this starting to get that certain smell...
Prosecutors accidentally gave information about law enforcement activities to Imran’s attorneys and claim that they should not have. “Earlier this week, there was the inadvertant disclosure of law enforcement materials to defense counsel,” Marando said. “There may be a motion on that.”
what motion ? it's like a picture of Hillary...once seen, it can't be un-seen.
“There wasn’t much on the laptop, but there was a resume with an alias in Jackson Heights, Queens.
so why the headline ? and now why is the laptop a big deal and why is atty\client privilege a big deal? The privilege is the client's.

What a flaming pile of nonsense. Awan is not an attorney nor was acting as an attorney and the data on the HDD was not generated in any such context.
I feel strongly that Awan feels strongly that going to prison is a less preferred option than returning to Pakistan with $2-3 MM in funds the DNC gave him or that he stole.
