If it's a rural area I would think a police chopper would be helpful.Hopefully it doesn't get too cold while he's missing.

Oh, I hope they find him soon. My dad did this once and it’s a very scary thing. He, too, had Parkinson’s and sometimes they hallucinate, which makes things even more difficult. Poor guy.

Done. Just had to put a loved one in the home because of dementia/psychosis. Very difficult. Hope they find him quickly!

I know one lady who lost her dad this way. Yesterday I read of another missing man from Huntington, W. VA. Same sort of thing..dementia and other health issues. I’ve sometimes wondered if these folks have a moment of clarity, and just decide to go away to get it done and over with. In many cultures, it’s what the elderly did when their time came.

In any event, my heart goes out to those families who are missing their loved ones. I know first hand how f4ightening it all is. Prayers up!
