Most Packers Fans Seemed To Ignore The Team’s National Anthem Request [VIDEO]

The Green Bay Packers asked fans to link arms during the national anthem at Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bears to show “unity.” If the footage from the song’s performance is any indication, fans largely ignored that request.

Quarterback Aaron Rogers even made a personal request, saying “we’ve got to come together and talk about these things and grow as a community, as a connected group of individuals in our society, and we’re going to continue to show love and unity, and this week we’re going to ask the fans to join in as well and come together and show people that we can be connected and we can grow together.”

the problem is many probably have season passes- and don’t want to ‘waste their hard earned money’ by not going- they aren’t committed enough to boycotting to forego a few strategic games to get the message across that we the people find what the NFL is doing to be disgusting and very disrespectful

It would have been a stupid fan to join in what was just another gesture of disrespect to the flag and anthem.

In this case the fans are the owners.
The players ar going to get that point driven across to them.

We are at a football game, not at church. No holding hands and talking about ‘love’. Just play your game if you still can.

Hey...aaron...the “unity” is, and always has been, the UNITED States.

When are you, and your ilk, going to stop acting like tribal Africans and embrace a little “unity”.

Unity, standing for what? Stalin, Mao, Dear Leader all created “unity”.

Aaron Rodgers. Isn’t that the guy who stopped talking to his family because they didn’t like his girlfriend?
Some unifier.

Packers, led by their brain dead Q/B, Aaron Rogers, are: Dumb, Dumber & Dumbest!!! You would not want to see or read, what I would write about the team owners and Roger Goodell!!!

That sound cynical enough for me to have come up with ): but then again how many working-class stiffs can cough up enough dough for season passes? Maybe a lot of them, depending on what their priorities are -- feed the kids or season tickets? -- season tickets it is!

In my opinion, the players, coaches, and owners who “link arms” are publicly declaring their support for Black Lives Matter.

Aaron Rogers’ statement that “we’ve got to come together and talk about these things and grow as a community” is self-serving propaganda that helps him evade responsibility for supporting an extremist and violent Black political organization.

I noticed that, too. Yet Romo (?) seemed not to look up into the actual stands or TV monitors and away from the script he was reading. It claimed the fans were doing what Rodgers requested. Not so, kid. Then some of them started chanting USA with an aggression that said, “I’m sick of this crap!”

The fans are like folks who bought time shares and took a while to figure out that they had been baited and switched.

They will figure it out...and not buy season tickets next year.
