The book “Unlimited Access” by Gary Aldrich, the FBI agent in the White House in charge of security clearances and vetting discusses first hand how they ignored, flaunted, and deliberately mishandled security at all levels, and the floodgates opened from there.

I have a copy of that book. Mr. Aldrich wrote a personal message to me in it. He said he heard I was a "true patriot." It's one of my prized possessions.

I can imagine that would be a prized possession. When I read that book, all I could think of were two things: One, how sucky it would be to be responsible for implementing and enforcing security like he had to, and Two, how much I would have thought the exact same things he did as he went through them there.

I don’t think he ever did implement security. They basically ignored him. I can imagine Obama didn’t even go through the motions of having a real FBI agent in the White House.
