He said Moore couldn’t win, or at least that it was doubtful he could. He said if Moore was nominated, the Democrats had a good chance of winning the seat.

Strange is a sitting senator until the winner of this election is sworn in to office. Too much time in play, for much mischief out of Mitch the Senate, had President Trump NOT endorsed the Strange man. No need to recklessly poke a GOPe sitting senator in the political eye.

Strange has voted with Trump. Trump therefore endorsed him. Trump didn't have to endorse anybody. He certainly didn't have to go to Alabama and give a rally for him. That was stupid. Strange was not the incumbent. He was a placeholder placed there by a corrpt governor. Trump should have stayed out of it.
