The problem is a large chunk of the "conservative" base would rather sit in their porch chairs and complain than battle the Dems incrementally.

That might be true in general, but that's not the biggest problem with repealing Obamacare.

The biggest problem with Obamacare is that almost every one of its provisions -- even the most noxious ones -- has a sizable number of supporters among people who call themselves "conservatives" ... even right here on FreeRepublic.

Block grants are what R's do so that the Fed can take over again later at a more opportune time after the states blow the money that they all become addicted to.
It's still ends up as government controlled health care.
These people are disingenuous scum.

Like I’m sure everyone else here, I don’t like Graham very much, but if he pulls this off, kudos to him.

I trust the 34 Republican Governors a lot more than I trust Congress.

Well of course it will get 52 votes it preserves Obamacare and bails out the private insurance industry and all the states that expanded their medicaid program.

True. I’ll take Graham-Cassidy, at least for now.

I listen to Rand Paul on Hannity the other day. It seems we are going to see a two tiered system. The one they are voting on is basically reformed Medicare.

The second action only takes an executive order, which will allow people to pay a premium to enter a shared plan across state lines.

For what it’s worth ... The states that expanded their Medicaid enrollments the most are the ones who are heavily opposed to this bill.

I just wanted to add that the money behind destroying this Bill is massive. I have had the radio on for several hours, on a station that runs Conservative opinion shows. There has been a 60 second ad on, twice an hour, every hour, since 6:30 this morning, telling people to call their Senators and tell them to vote no on Graham-Cassidy. The amount of money the Left has must be astronomical.
