Investigations into the House security breach indicate sensitive intel, required to remain within the system's digital security perimeter, was secretly shipped to an outside server.....perhaps destined for global distribution.
Emails and office computer files of at least 45 Democrat House members are involved. Democrats are in danger of being blackmailed, but appear to be colluding and conspiring to keep each other quiet (the practiced Clinton MO to "say nothing and stall for time.")
Ace reporter, Luke Rosiak, revealed Imran Awan allegedly routed data from numerous House Democrats to the secret server. Suspicious Capitol Police requested a copy of the server early this year. Instead, then-Cong Xavier Becerra, Democratic Caucus chair (Becerra is now California AG) provided L/E with an elaborate falsified image designed to hide the massive violations.
Becerra's deception triggered the Paki clan's ban from the House network Feb. 2. Authorities considered the false image they received from Becerra to be interference in a criminal investigation.
Data was also backed up to Dropbox in huge quantities. Congressional offices are prohibited from using unsecure Dropbox, so an unofficial account was invented, meaning Awan still had access despite the ban from the Congressional network.
Awan's access to emails and office computer files of 45 Democrat members of Congress apparently incited fear among members that embarrassing information might be released if they cooperated with prosecutors...... one explanation for Democrats' refusal to acknowledge the cybersecurity breach publicly or to criticize the suspects.
House Democrats employed the Awan family for years as IT aides. Learning of the House probe, Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, frantically transferred money to accounts in their native Pakistan via the Congressional Federal Credit Union and both were indicted in August on fraud charges related to the transfers.

On May 31, 2012, then-Cong Xavier Becerra voted against H.R. 3541, the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA), which would have imposed civil and criminal penalties on anyone knowingly attempting to perform a sex-selective abortion. The bill also would have required healthcare providers to report known or suspected violations to law enforcement, including suspicions about a woman’s motives for seeking an abortion.[28] Becerra received a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America in 2012.
On March 28, 2017, Becerra brought 14 felony charges against The Center for Medical Progress activists for recording 14 videos (see Planned Parenthood 2015 undercover videos controversy), and 1 felony charge for conspiring to invade privacy.
The charges were dismissed by a California Superior Court judge in June for not stating the names of those recorded and the specific dates of the recordings; the charges were refiled with the names and dates in July 2017.
Does any one know if they ever covered this story?
If Dems aren’t looking for it then it doesn’t exist, just ask them.
It’s the flip side to the seriousness of the charges. Or, as I penned the other day:
I’m starting with the man in your mirror,
I’m gonna virtue signal till he changes his ways,
No message could be any clearer,
If you want to make the world a better place the seriousness of the charges can’t go both ways!

Shhhh ... listen, the DNC flagellant monks approach issuing their mournful lament...

They attribute the laptop and documents found by Capitol Police to Awan, but I think that is wrong, if it was he, would he not be savely out of the country before letting those items be found?
This pi#$es me off worse than anything. This is the biggest espionage case in the last 100 years, and not a f8%&ing word from the media. There absolutely isn’t an honest reporter in the whole country, or this would be the scoop of a lifetime.
Capitol Police....Meh!!! Just remember that Spittin” Chrissy Matthews was once a Capitol Policeman!!!!!
Lots and lots of mysterious twists and turns.
L/E need to follow the paper trail and the money trail.
Good point abut C/P.
I understand the FBI (hah) is also investigating.
Based on congressional financial disclosure forms and calculations made available by OpenSecrets.org, Xavier Becerra’s net worth as of 2012 was estimated between $705,062 and $2,800,998.
That averages to $1,753,030, which is lower than the average net worth of Democratic representatives in 2012 of $5,700,168.36.
Becerra ranked as the 160th most wealthy representative in 2012. Between 2004 and 2012, Becerra’s calculated net worth increased by an average of 13 percent per year.
Between 2004 and 2012, the average annual percentage increase for a member of Congress was 15.4 percent. (BALLOTPEDIA.COM)

I have not seen it covered.
Bet you're right! I swear - the swamp is so full of this sludge, it may be impossible to flush it out.
Do we know if the FBI is even investigating this? I’m so outraged that NO ONE is talking about it!!!
I'd say that's an excellent assumption. This became a substitute for the blackmailing material Hillary had on so many from the stolen FBI files. No wonder the Dems all vote in lock-step and never buck their leadership.
Betcha they have lots of goods on the GOP Rino's too!
Goods my tush...with all do respect, I'll bet the rino's (lower case intended for disdain) are knee deep in it all. Full participation.
IMHO there is a tanker full of mutually assured destruction evidence out there just waiting for someone (other than No Go Gowdy) to run with...
The INTEL community of Republicans had better stop this practice now, or expect to be blackmailed!
Reportedly, the FBI apprehended Imran at the airport as he tried to abscond.......the Capitol Police could not have done that.
