The article states that the spirit of white nationalism is on the rise. I really don’t see it.

I see a spirit of whites not wanting to be oppressed by non-white supremacists and their Leftist overlords. Is this hyperbole? I really, desperately wish it were.

The most dangerous thing to come out of the Berkeley presentation was the "protester's" statement that "speech is violence." The simple (but wrong) response would be, "Hey, as a child, didn't you ever hear 'sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me?'" It does make me pause to wonder just what the heck has happened in child-rearing over the last 40 or so years, but that's not the point.

The statement that "speech is violence" seems to give the opponents of free speech reason to not only oppose free speech, but to proactively use violence to shut down speech with which they disagree.

I've ALWAYS been a supporter of "the way to counter bad speech is with more, good speech." I remember the ACLU's support of Illinois Nazis to march in a Jewish community in Skokie, IL, and much to the consternation of many fellow Jews, I supported it. Frankly, I want to hear what the Jew haters have to say, in order to be aware, should they decide to move from speech to action.

But where are the free speech warriors today? Certainly not on any college campuses, and not in the membership or management of either the ACLU, and certainly NOT the SPLC.

The sheer stupidity on display by the protesters at this speech should make them ashamed, but being leftist means never being ashamed, and being stupid means not knowing enough that they SHOULD be ashamed. To paraphrase Dean Wormer, "Angry, leftist, and stupid is no way to go through life." And it seems that many of these so called students, AND THEIR PROFESSORS, are among the angriest, leftist, and certainly, the most stupid people on the planet.

That said, the AntiFa aren’t Neo-Nazis, they are Neo-Communists. Not a nickel’s difference in evil between a Nazi and a Communist.
