This is absurd. He watches tv and he tweets. There is every reason to think he is fully aware of what is going on. Plus, even the article says that aides can make appointments and meet with him. They just have to go through a process (which makes a lot of sense).
He has two older sons that are very much on top of every single thing to do with Trump. I’m sure they fill in the blanks (if there are any) and keep him well informed.
