This was probably Ryan and McConnell's plan all along. Bottle up Trump's agenda and get him frustrated to the point where he's working with primordial slime like Schumer and Pelosi. Just days ago these clowns were calling Trump a Nazi lover.

I would NEVER work with Schumer and the Dems. Trump should have continued to held the GOP's feet to the fire. Pass a stand-alone Harvey bill. Then do a clean, responsible budget instead of these CRs and government shutdown melodramatics.

Now when the next SCOTUS vacancy comes up, Schumer is going to press Trump to push for a "Mainstream" (LEFTIST) choice. And McConnell will have no incentive to use the nuclear option.

I doubt that they had any plans at all but at least you are not saying its a good thing like so many others are.
