We're in hillbilly country too. Practically the entire population (men, women and children) get up early, slog through the woods, and kill at least one deer every year. They're generally skilled in cover and concealment, operate a rifle (usually with a scope) from a long distance, and are used to stalking prey and killing it. These same people then butcher the animal and process it for eating. Most of them regularly butcher chickens, rabbits, hogs, etc.

If a bunch of these black and red morons ran into town making mischief, one of two things would happen if the local LEOs didn't intervene first. Either there'd be so many holes in them that there'd be arguments about who made the kill, or the mischief makers would just quietly "disappear" without any traces of their bodies remaining.
