Maybe we should ban the triggering names “Robert” and “Lee” altogether. And the letter “E”.

You know just HOW stupid this is..?

This is like the Khmer Rouge bumping off all people in the country who wore GLASSES:

"They represent the intellectual class and thus, enemies..."

We are THAT stupid now.

Great feeling, huh..?

In the SF rioting over the weekened they ran out of obvious nazis. You know what they did? They APPOINTED them.

Yes, THAT is how much greedy rioting momentum there was.

They appointed as nazi a guy WEARING A POLO SHIRT.

We ALL know how much the Third Reich loved polo shirts, right..?

IDIOCRACY IS HERE.

Their targets were always all the icons of this country. Soon it’ll be the Constitution.

The team is the Trojans and they named the mascot after Robert E. Lee's horse?

Wasn't there some Trojan horse they could have named it after?

And Salon.com tweeted last night that the United States has a neo-Confederate national anthem. Jefferson Morley, the writer at Salon, “contended that the United States adopted the ‘Star Spangled Banner’ as its national anthem due to an ascendant ‘neo-Confederate spirit’ during the decades after the Civil War. Morley played up that ‘observing Memorial Day and singing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ are uncontroversial patriotic gestures, yet there is no disputing that neo-Confederates developed these rituals.'”

"Jefferson Morley?"

O, the irony!

Actually, Marse Robert’s hoss was NOT white. It was a beautiful dappled gray, just like George Washington’s in the Valley Forge Prayer painting. Lee would no more ride a white horse, than Patton would pack a revolver with faggot pearl hand grips. Patton’s hand grips were ivory.

CORRECTION: Gen. Lee’s horse was gray, but not dappled gray. He was not that photogenic. He was an American Saddlebred, plain gray with black points. This means his mane, tail, feet and tips of his ears were black. Traveller was NOT a white horse by ANY stretch.

Not to flog the subject, but to attempt to be clear about it; Lee’s horse Traveller was NOT a pretty horse. He was undoubtedly a good horse; “broke to death”, as the Quarter Horse people say. But not flashy. In fact, rather drab looking in photos. Not nearly as pretty as Washington’s dappled gray. But as someone once said, “Therd’s no such thing as a bad color on a good horse.”

Roman cavalry saddles did not have stirrups. Stirrups were not commonly used until the 8th century AD.
