I am afraid that if the truth were ever told, the Justice Dept would have to indict and likely send to jail way too man elected officials and their staffs,

If a tenth of all the Congressional Democrats suddenly were in jail and/if many of their staff were sent to jail, the Deep State would be so disrupted that it would have a hard time functioning.

We have seen recently (DOJ meeting with Bill on an airport tarmac, then instructing FBI to let Hillary go) that the Deep State will not go after other Deep State royalty. This is the same FBI and Justice Dept that looks the other way.
