This is a post I wrote in another thread but needs repeating, though I have edited it to add more material:
I’ve been telling people that Bannon is a fraud for a number of months now. There are many good reasons to believe this, but people have their tribal affiliations and do not so easily break free of them.
Bannon brought this on himself by spreading the disinformation that McMaster had given Susan Rice security clearance, even though all he gave her was access to her own work product as was necessary, especially if she was going to soon be testifying.
Stone’s criticism of Bannon here is completely accurate and should not be a surprise to anyone who remembers Bannon’s less than honest hijinks during the nomination process.
Sadly, Bannon, like most professional conservative pundits, was only interested in one thing: self-aggrandizement and money. Because conservatives have so few media outlets of our own, tooting your own horn and creating your own founding myth is pretty easy, especially since few are paying enough attention to point out the truth.
The honest among us are far and few and conservatives need to recognize this.
Take the medicine folks. It tastes bad but we need it.
All the lies about Bannon being the “Trump campaign,” making all the decisions, making all the plans, were lies straight from Bannon and the MSM intent on painting Trump as a soulless goon with no positions of his own.
Well, hard to say where this will all go. But what can Trump do?? Keep himself surrounded by traitors?? I would agree he made some BIG mistakes by keeping certain individuals to give them a chance. Many have failed the test...it is a precedent for our times.
What was Bannon’s job at the White House? Strategy?
Doesn’t seem like these people being fired were very good at their jobs. As for Bannon, strategy at the WH seems to be a disaster so far.
All anyone is talking about this week is statues. Where is the Obamacare repeal? Where is the tax bill? Where is the new immigration bill?
Yes, I voted for Trump because I wanted to keep Clinton out of the WH and I wanted to “drain the swamp” - but I also wanted action on policy. We’re more than 6 months in - where is the new policy??

FWIW - another thread stated Bannon tendered his resignation on August 7th. So it was already in the works pre-Charlottesville.
Well, I am done with Trump now. Bannon was the main reason I supported Trump. The administration is over as far as I am concerned. Going forward I will neither support nor pray for Trump.
I notice elsewhere that this is only anticipated, not done. While Drudge is reporting it, nothing on Fox. Wouldn’t it be interesting if it does not occur and Trump doubles-down on Bannon?
Look, let’s be mature about this...the, “then I’m out” talk is silly, insipid.
Do we know what Bannon said behind the scenes? Do we know the inside info on Trump’s team? No.
We have Trump’s back and that won’t change. I want to live in the United States of America, a constitutional republic. I do not want anything else or less.
President Trump, my president, has all 10 fingers and 10 toes in the dam holding back the flood of fascism, marxism, socialism and any other isms that are LESS THAN THE USA!

rudiculous..like Bannon forced Trump to make his statements which I found nothing wrong with in the first place..when you appease the left you end up digging your own grave..dont you get it president Trump they won’t be happy til you say I Resign what part of that don’t you get

Quite possibly Bannon can do more damage to the left from outside the WH than within. He can be Trump’s berserker, unleashed and acting without the constraints of government
Am I right or just knee-jerking if I think it all but over for Trump? The left is winning and getting almost everything they ever wanted(and will find more to want to change) under Trump a than they ever would have under their chosen one Hillary, or that’s the preconception(which is reality as the saying goes)....
