I don’t think so. The tags and VIN track, the kid brags on FB about his car, the photos in the car today look like the same kid with a beard. I’m buying it. And I suspect the reason the media is on blackout is because it IS a friendly fire incident. It was an “accident” because he intended to kill the 4chan kids.

The police pushed the nationalists out of the park and into the crowds of communists. I watched on the Ruptly stream as people walked down the stairs out of the park and got barraged with sticks and pepper spray. It is unbelievable to me that the police did nothing to keep the protesters and counter protesters separate.

All of these things that have happened really come down to police incompetence. I’m not for a militarized police force, but they could at least do their job which is to literally keep the peace.

I’m past the point of chalking anything up to benevolent incompetence. They’re taking orders from people who wanted this alt right rally shut down, plain and simple. There have been plenty of other rallies where the police have been able to keep antifa and alt right separate, but in this case the police were ordered to stay out of it until it came time to shut down the permitted Lee Park rally.
