I hear ya.. That training is brutal. It has to be. Missions aren’t a cakewalk, no matter how well rained.

There’s BUDS, then SEAL training. WTF is “initial training”? Anything before BUDS is has nothing to do with SEALs.

Knowing the military, it is just as likely than not that she was out of shape but was supported for a program they all “knew” she has no business trying to enter but couldn’t just write her out of the program, after all, political correctness trumps qualifications every time so I am sure she received dedicated conditioning and support that a male candidate would never be given.
You’re right. Anything before that is all about getting the numbers down to a manageable level.

I am not knocking her either. I guess my issue is with the title of being the first femal candidate. She’s not a candidate until she begins BUDS. And, I don’t question her patriotism at all. And, FUBO.

This is NOT a job for women.
100% true. Look at her picture on the first day. No way she could make it. The same thing happen to the first woman to go to West Point. She fought and fought to get in and then quite days afterward. She was so out of shape.
She wasn’t in SEAL training, she was in the evaluation course. She couldn’t even complete the test that would have allowed her the privilege of dropping out of BUD/S.
And she was a college junior in Navy ROTC. Who obviously USED TO think she was tough.
All of which is detailed in the story that the story linked to in the OP plagiarized. Which is why if you’re going to post a new story, you should follow the links and drill down to the source and post it instead of posting the story that the guy who was too lazy to write his own news wrote.
