Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., outperformed company expectations by making a $1.97 million profit in its first four months, according to a report Thursday.
The Trump Organization had projected that it would lose $2.1 million during the first four months of 2017, federal documents cited by the Washington Post show.
Guests have paid an average of $652.98 a night to stay at the hotel, besting the company's expectations by 57 percent, according to documents posted online by the General Services Administration.
Trump administration Cabinet members and others in the president's inner circle have frequently been spotted at the hotel.
The Trump Organization is leasing the hotel from the federal government.

The lobby.
Winning by and smally.
Winning by and smally.
I’ll bet it is dressed up well at Christmas.
But he got there both ways!
A true Champ!
And it was ready ‘ahead of schedule and under budget’
I bet! Especially this year as they will have been open for over a year.
Trump should create a new presidential living quarters in the upper floors of this magnificent hotel!
The WH is insecure IMO.
The leaks might just be surveillance tech planted by the Obama mob.
Just turn the WH into a historical tourist attraction and only use the oval office for presidential TV appearances during times of crisis.
The WH stands in dire need of massive renovation anyway and this would allow for that to take place.
Dang that is a beautiful building.
The lobby is nice too.
Is that the old post office?
Perhaps he’ll do that if the WH continues with renovations. It’s less disruptive for him to stay in the hotel than the golf resorts. He can take Marine One to play golf, if he’d like.
Yes, it is. Have you been? There’s quite a view of DC from the tower.
It’s a beautiful place. Met some FB friends in that bar for a happy hour. It’s a bit pricy, but atmosphere!
Yes, pricey — fun for a splurge! I attended a Virginia Women for Trump birthday for the President there. Very nice.
No, never been to DC. Hoping to go next year. Gonna do the whole tourist thing. See the monuments, visit the Smithsonian, just amble around and see what I can see.
I went BY the city many times when I was truck driving but never took the time to spend any off time there.
I do want to see it before I croak.
So much to see. I know you will enjoy your visit.
How much are the cocktails? Are they more than other D.C. hotels?
All of the better D.C. hotels have a bar where you can spend $20 on a drink. But, I was just a bit shocked when I paid $9 for an O'Doul's. Yep, 9 bucks for an NA beer. But again, atmosphere! Oh, I had two of them.
