President Trump brings manufacturing back to the US, cracks down on human trafficking, and takes action to fix this mess that occurred under his predecessor.
Without the help of the GOP Congress, I might add.
And all the Democrats can do is scream "Russia! Russia! Russia!"

OBama’s complete ignoring of Taliban opium production and refinement is coming home to roost .
Tell me that old stoner (Obama) wasn’t doing some Laotian China white when he was in Vientiane not so long ago . Did you see him on the flight out . Looked a little ‘drowsy’ if you ask me ....

The Afghanistan opium crop accounts for 90% of the world’s heroin.

The easiest solution is to over-regulate and crack down on those people who don’t abuse opioids.

This hits home for a lot of us, just back from a wake for my friend and neighbors son 27, he and my two sons were friends since they were 5 years old, across the street another neighbors son died last year. We need to institute the death penalty for drug dealers and the trafficking of such, we need to get serious!

Find the people who are dealing and distributing these drugs. Then:
1. Monday - arrest them
2. Wednesday - trial and conviction
3. Friday - public hangings
Repeat weekly until problem disappears.

I find myself conflicted over this sort of thing.
On the one hand it makes no sense to pour taxpayer money and resources into solving a problem that probably will never be solved with just money. Very few people get strung out on opiates without being complicit in their own demise.
On the other hand, I'm sure President Trump recognizes the idiocy of promoting America as a great place to do business when a disturbing portion of our working-age adults are regularly strung out on opiates.

Why did it require a Constitutional amendment to prohibit alcohol, but not opioids or other drugs?
Oh yeah, the Constitution actually meant something 100 years ago.

A "war on drugs" for 46 years, billions spent, civil liberties eroded and yet we have another drug "crisis".
What's that saying about doing the same things over and over again expecting a different outcome?

Dang it,this makes me so mad! I would bet a pill that the “opioid” that are such an emergency are actually Fentinyl that has been stepped off. That means some brilliant drug dealers are getting their hands on Fen. patches (as far as I know, that's how Fen. is given), they inject it with some other nasty drug (sorry, no longer work for the prosecutor, don't have the recipe), with makes the Fen. patch toxic, and in some cases, fatal even to the touch.
Sadly, *all* opioids will now be under scrutiny. Those of us who need it (stage 4 cancer with mets) will have to jump hoops just to have quality of life.
And, just to be snippy about it, let's check those numbers, shall we? Let's get the press to do their job and break down the deaths by drug used, was deceased an active addict, where did the drugs come from? Guarantee you, it will be Fentynil and addicts. In some states, if you hang around druggies and can prove it, some pharmacies will sell you Narcan. Which, I guess, there are people kind enough to use.

I’ve always said, remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
Same goes for druggies. Stop rescuing OD’s.
