Transgender: We’re ‘Medically Reliant’ Like Diabetic, Asthmatic; ‘Should Be Disqualified’ fm Miltary
CNS NEWS ^ | July 31, 2017 | Theresa Smith

"We should be disqualified at enlistment because we are medically reliant"

Reacting to President Trump’s announcement preventing transgender people in the military, Edie Dixon, a transgender man who identifies as a woman, told the Blaze on July 27 that he agrees with the president’s decision, saying that transgenders are “no better” than diabetics or asthmatics, and “should be disqualified” from the military.

According to the Blaze, Dixon is a Trump supporter and a resident of Oregon.

When the Blaze’s Allie Stuckey asked Dixon for his reaction to Trump’s announcement last week, Dixon replied, “I’m actually very satisfied. This is Trump showing that he is a president for equality, because this isn’t about transgender people, this is about transgender treatment.

“And if you look at the medical disqualifying guidelines of the military that they use, we are medically reliant, and therefore disqualifies us,” he continued.

“We are no better than diabetics. We are no better than asthmatics. We should be disqualified at enlistment because we are medically reliant,” stated Dixon.

“Wow, that’s an interesting perspective, and not one that we’re really hearing from other people of your community,” replied Stuckey. She asked, “So the big question is that I’m hearing asked is ‘can trump be a friend of the LGBT community and still enforce this ban?’”

“Of course,” said Dixon. “Trump has already proven to the LGBT community that he is an ally, especially with the religious executive order where he personally removed all -- any bill regarding the LGBT people, and especially his historic before his election when he was in Colorado when he announced his support for LGBT rights.”

“And this ban -- I still don’t look at it as anti-LGBT move, even with the executive order with the bathroom bill,” continued Dixon. “There has to be compromises, there has to be guidelines. We can’t be reckless with the transgender problem or the transgender issue with the bathroom problem.”

“We can’t be reckless, especially in our military,” he stated.

When Stuckey asked him if it is difficult to support Trump as a transgender person, Dixon replied that he has lost jobs and has been banned from bars and clubs because of his political belief.

Stuckey pointed out that the Left says it is for diversity, and Dixon replied that although the left used to be for freedom … it is now “hypocritical.” “They are not for tolerance anymore. They are not for free speech anymore.”

He also said that the LGBT movement has become “a liberal agenda movement.”

Stuckey asked as a final question, “Are you pleased with Trump’s presidency so far. Do you think he’s doing the things that you and your community want him to do?”

Dixon answered, “Oh, most definitely. Of course, like with any president, there are things you do disagree with. I am not a one-issue voter. I am not party-loyal. I am a devout constitutionalist, so I lean toward whoever is more constitution.”

“And I feel that Trump is doing a great job at protecting the United States and our people. And that should be the focus right now. That is where my point is."

“And that is the importance of politics in our country is not where I go to the bathroom. It’s are we letting in hundreds and thousands of refugees who are going to slaughter us?” stated Dixon. “That is where my mind is at, and I think that’s where Trump’s mind needs to be at.”

“We don’t need any more political correctness in this country,” he said. “We need truth, and we need safety, not political correctness. And giving people an extra privilege to go into the military just because of political correctness, to me, is a special right. That is not equal rights.”

This transgender acknowledges an important fact. Transgenders are reliant on continuing medication and medical care. Without that care they are subject to illness and infection.

I pray that this man gets his mind right about his sickness and repents of mutilating his body. In Jesus name. Lord heal this man

I like this guy. He’s nailed it. And he has his priorities right, and sees the agenda for what it is.

There are many gays and transgenders who, also do not see why the two groups are shoved into one agenda as they don’t have much in common.

There's a psychiatric disorder (I forget the term for it) where people are absolutely convinced that one of their arms or legs is an alien entity rather than a part of their bodies. Some indulge this psychosis by attempting to amputate their arms or legs themselves.

Nobody would think that such a person is fit for military service (or for much of anything else) because he would be an obvious risk and a liability. I fail to see any difference between the level of delusion between the guy who thinks that his arm doesn't belong to him and the guy who thinks that he's a girl in a man's body.

Actually I know a woman who thinks she is a boy and she is incredibly conservative and so are her strange millennial peers. They actually rip SJW s from end to end with their sardonic wit.

No.

They are mentally ill.

Instead of being helped their illness is being aided for the higher profit.

Guess who gets to pay for it.

That medical reliance to maintain their condition is exactly what I used to explain it to my college age daughter, who was worried about the “thousands” who were going to be out of work. I said, “What will a woman do when her meds run out, if she is in the wilds of Afghanistan? In a couple weeks, her muscle mass declines, her voice rises, her breasts start growing. All of a sudden, she is not the man her fellow soldiers were counting on, at all.”

The light bulb went on— “Oh, they basically take steroids?”

I think it’s fun to explain the real world to young people.

With all the STUFF going on around the World thanks to Obama, the Democrats, and some RINO neocons perhaps we have someone here that is looking towards the future, and sees reinstatement of the draft. Perhaps a Corporal Klinger type.

I agree. The medical concerns just add multiple problems for the military to deal with when they’re actually supposed to be winning wars.

I would add the entire lactating/pregnant female soldiers to the list.

Lactation station at the bunker on top of an Afghani mountain?

Let’s see, extra equipment, extra flights, extra packages sent home. It’s craziness.

But, they say, you can just declare her “non-deployable”.

Right. We need squads as less than full strength and we need some other soul to be deployed again because this one just can’t make it.

Not so much for profit as for political virtue-signaling and vote-getting. The actual number of transsexuals is probably miniscule - a fraction of one percent, so they're not a big voting block. However, because the media has turned their agenda into the trendy Social Justice cause of the month, liberals now use transgender bathrooms as a litmus test in deciding who to vote for.

I think what he/she really means is, “We’re medically dependent”.

Or is it reliant as in “We rely on medications to stabilize the effects of our addadicktomy/choppadickoffamee”?

Anyway, if a service member requires refrigerated meds (including some diabetics), then he or she is nondeployable, never mind the wackadoodleness that goes with one’s self-imposed condition of being a heeshee.

Body dysmorphic disorder. And you are right. People go to South America and pay $20,000 to have their arm or leg removed and then come back here and you go on disability. Disability isn’t the reason they do it but it is what they end up on

Obama is the one individual most responsile for so-called transgender rights becoming such a headline issue almost overnight.

Obama wanted to be the 21st Century Martin Luther King. The problem is, most professional victim groups had already been spoken for by some conman hero long ago - blacks, feminists, Chicanos, gays, etc all have their rackets going already. So Obama looked around and realized that there was one group that didn't yet have a political champion, and he found trannies. That was the best he could do to put himself into the pages of history books as a transformative champion of the "oppressed."

This person gets it. The army needs people who aren’t medically dependent, requiring ongoing care, like hormones, counseling, and ultimately surgery.

What’s not mentioned is that transgender transition isn’t an accident that comes out of the blue, like a war injury, or a disease contracted while in the service. It’s a known defect for the transgenders that have been incentivized to enlist for the purpose of completing their change on Uncle Sam’s dime. In the insurance business, it would be called a “known loss”, or a hidden defect.

If the military asked, “Are you considering a gender transition while in the service”, enlistees would have to lie in order to enter, or not be disqualified, under any sane (and now Trump’s) policy.

A brave one at that. Having his name attached to this and living in Oregon could very make life pretty hard for him now.

There are some serious wackadoodles in the Eugene and Portland areas, this guy just painted a big target on his own back. Considering how small the community of trannys must be you would think word will get around pretty fast on this guys betrayal of the pink wall they all hide behind.
