McCain has already done more damage to the USA than the Viet Cong and the NVA combined.
You’d think he could do one decent thing for the country on his way out the door and retire gracefully,
“Not wishing ill on McCain, but unfortunately for the country’s sake & to the detriment of Republicans/Trump, I do think he’ll be back for a while after maybe two months off, based on what is currently known.”
And watch.. when he does come back, it’ll be just long enough to take a stand in favor of Obamacare, because after all, having been at death’s door he can speak first-hand about having coverage for pre-existing conditions. He’ll be the happy convert.
You do what you need to do. This man has been a menace to our Constitution for decades. The day he asks for forgiveness for his betrayal of his oath of office I will view him a changed man. He has sucked enough oxygen out of this country all for self serving purposes. God will judge which side of the gulf his soul returns, not my business.

Ted Kennedy lasted a year after being diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer. Within 6 months, McCain will no longer be attending the Senate. He is short for the world. Time to make peace with The Lord, and may God have mercy on his soul.
He needs to be replaced now.
He’ll be out with treatment for a long time.
He’s being a dis-service to AZ and the country.
I hope he rethinks his situation.
I despise McCain as much or more than the next guy, but it’s natural for one to be in denial this shortly after such a diagnosis. Hopefully, reality will set in shortly and he will do the right thing and resign.

Someone with Glioblastoma has, at the most, about a year and a half to live. It sends out microscopic offshoots throughout the brain that rapidly grow into tumors. It is the most aggressive of primary tumors of the brain for which no cure is available. Each extraction through radiation, causes damage to surrounding brain cells. Such treatments destroys brain function with dire consequences. It is a terrible way to go.
Prayers.

McCain is clearly in his first stage of grief—DEEP denial. I pray he won’t take weeks and months to process his grief and will quickly come to the inevitable conclusion that he’s too sick to work—and he SHOULD retire/resign now. Sounds like he’s going to take the “martyred hero” route, because he’s a ravenous media attention hog. This situation will have all the Fake News Anti-Trump media scum fawning all over him constantly, he will be in media coverage heaven.
All this cr@p about beating the odds against stage 4 brain cancer is delusional wishful thinking. Even if McCain were to be “cured,” he has at least a year of brutal chemo and radiation treatments ahead of him which will render him unable to work. He needs to do the right thing for this country and resign/retire now. Anything less than that is pure selfishness on his part.

You're more than likely correct...He will be 81 in five more weeks, and these treatments will take a toll on him bigly. and they will be on going until he more than likely takes his last breath on Earth..
He really should step down and allow his seat go to a choice of the Gov. of AZ. and spend his days with his family and friends. But like all Professional Politicians, he loves CONTROL and he will not give that up...He surly doesn't need the money or position, but it is all about HIM...always has been..
